Now I know how NoAh felt.
It hasn't stopped raining all day. One good thing about the rain is that it's helped to cool down the air. I can sleep relatively dry tonight as I'm still without a fan.
I went downstairs earlier to help Ma'am A out the car and I saw that the street was inundated. I saw children playing in the wake of the passing vehicles. The water must be around a foot deep as I could still see the children's knees. If what I saw was only after a few hours rain, I wonder what this area must have been like during 'Ondoy' in 2009.
I wanted to tell A a joke but she's too young too understand. It's always been a favourite of mine. A joke to flash out in time to break some ice or to make a smile appear. It's corny but that's what I am. I'm pretty much a-maize-ing. Tell me you got that? If you did, then you'll love this one. After a lengthy introduction, are you ready for it? No, really, are you ready for it?
Here it is.
Gee, it's raining cats and dogs outside. I almost stepped in a poodle.

PJ out.
